La Gota November 2024 Intensive
The mission of this program is to cultivate discipline and focus in students, fostering a transformation of mind-body consciousness that extends into their daily lives. La Gota is dedicated to spreading the knowledge of a healthy mind-body connection through the practice of modern circus arts. This focus on holistic well-being has guided the school’s journey, emphasizing the importance of community, a healthy lifestyle, and the diverse practices of modern circus. The program has been carefully designed with expert instructors to ensure that students experience a profound mind-body transformation during and beyond the program.
La Gota is committed to educating the world about the true nature of modern circus, showcasing its benefits for both mental and physical health. The diverse movements practiced in modern circus have been scientifically proven to enhance brain function, reduce stress, and improve mood and self-esteem. Through this program, students will not only develop physical skills but also experience significant psychological benefits, gaining confidence, reducing stress, and improving their overall well-being. La Gota Fall intensive will work in two stages, the first; conditioning and understanding our mind and bodies, the second; delving into modern circus skills to strengthen our mind body connection, grow as a community, and play!
Consisting of three core teachers and 3 guest teachers, classes will be as diverse as modern circus gets, dance, object manipulation, strength and flexibility will be at the core. While specialty classes will consist of Indian dance styles, parkour, arial techniques, hand balancing and much much more.
